The visit ends with a wine tasting with typical Tuscan bruschette and “affettati Toscani”,balsamic vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil.

Volterra is located in the province of Pisa. It is known for its Etruscan origins and was originally named Velathri by the ancient people.

The road to Volterra offers beautiful views of Tuscany’s famous rolling hills. Today Volterra is particularly know for its urban aspect from its Etruscan and Roman origins. Volterra is considered the city of Alabaster which is a  tradition that dates back to the Etruscans.
